Japanese culture is the romantic past filled with Samurai, Geisha, Zen masters; traditional art like Kabuki theater, the Haiku, Calligraphy, Ukiyo-e (“pictures of the floating world”). It is modern pop culture filled with Idol Singers, Anime, and eye popping, violent and delicate Cinema. Or clean architecture and rock gardens, tea ceremonies served with meal of rice, raw fish, seaweed, noodles, and Saki. All this only scrapes the surface of Japanese life.
